The Manufacturing Extension Partnership is a nationwide network providing services from innovation strategies to process improvements to workforce development, with a focus on helping manufacturers develop new customers, expand into new markets and create new products.  All U.S. businesses are eligible for MEP assistance.

MATERIALS RESEARCH SCIENCE & ENGINEERING CENTERS (MRSECs)

Materials Research Science and Engineering Centers (MRSECs) is a network of centers located at academic institutions through the United States, funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).  MRSECs support interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary materials research and education of the highest quality while addressing fundamental science and engineering problems that are important to society.

NATIONAL LABORATORIES

National laboratories and facilities are available free of charge* to scientists from universities, industry and national laboratories worldwide for non-proprietary research projects. In most cases, access to the facilities is granted to external users through a peer-reviewed proposal system. Individual facilities are likely to require a registration process to access that specific facility. 

*There may be instances where costs are shared with the users.
